   We, at Le Chenil Belge, strive to produce healthy, intelligent German Shepherd dogs that can be trained and used for a variety of purposes.  

   First and foremost, our dogs should be great companions and a loving member of the family.  We sell the majority of our puppies  as companion dogs.  We do not differentiate in our sales between a pet, show, or breedable dog. The potential for showable attributes should all be present.  We believe it is unethical to sell a dog under a year of age as breedable.

  Temperament and family companion attributes are always a top priority in our breeding.  Good health is also a must, and we strive through careful breeding, excellent nutrition and proper environment to maintain these goals.

  We are proud of our accomplishments, and will continue to explore the avenues of versatility with this breed.  We enjoy the European style kennel that we have created here in our little piece of Oregon.
